On November 1, 2007, the Department published in the Federal Register a Final Rule on the Federal Perkins Loan Program, Federal Family Education Loan Program, and William D. Ford Direct Loan Program. This follows publication on June 12, 2007, of a notice of proposed rulemaking for these same programs.
