Celebrate Father's Day
It wasn't until 1966 that the third Sunday in June was designated Father's Day.
Sonora Dodd who wanted to honor her Dad is attributed with the idea. Her father raised six children after the death of his wife and Sonora greatly admired him and wanted his self-sacrifice recognized.
