An electronic output document transmitted to the schools the student specified on the application and to state agencies. Sent by FSA's Central Processing System (CPS), the ISIR summarizes information submitted on a student's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and provides the student's Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The ISIR also includes full applicant data, information on eligibility matches, NSLDS financial aid history, comments, assumptions, and reject reasons. See also Student Aid Report (SAR).
