An institution may transfer up to 10 percent of its annual Federal Work Study (FWS) and/or Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) allocations back to the previous award year or forward to the next award year. A school may also carry back FWS funds to pay certain student wages earned the previous award year.
