Foreign graduate medical schools are required to provide Federal Student Aid with the requested documentation annually to remain eligible.

A medical school can still be eligible and exempt from meeting all of the 60 percent requirements as well as the annual reporting requirements if it has a clinical training program that was approved by a State as of January 1, 1992, and remains approved by that State.
