MISSION

The Learning Technologies Division (LTD) is responsible for the coordination of research, development, demonstration, assessment and dissemination of new learning technologies within the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI). This Division promotes collaborative information sharing, partnership and investment activities with federal, state, and local education agencies, and the private sector for improving learning productivity. LTD supports these efforts through competitive funding opportunities and evaluates the effectiveness of technology in serving the educational needs of students.
