Welcome to the Office of Reform Assistance and Dissemination (ORAD) Home Page! ORAD supports comprehensive education reform by linking teachers, administrators, parents, policymakers, and the public with the best knowledge from education research, statistics, and practice. Our major responsibilities include:

• Providing technical and financial assistance for development and demonstration programs.
  
• Identifying and disseminating promising and exemplary educational programs and models of school-wide reform and excellence.
  
• Supporting applied research and development that assists states and local school districts to implement effective school improvement programs.
  
• Connecting schools and teachers with appropriate sources of assistance.
  
• Disseminating useful research findings.

ORAD consists of four divisions: State and Local Services Division ; Knowledge Applications Division; Development and Demonstration Programs Division; and Learning Technologies Division. These divisions carry out ORAD’s responsibilities by operating a variety of programs encompassing a broad spectrum of activities. Our programs are listed under the Office/Programs category. Descriptions have been provided to explain the purpose of each program.
