Alabama to Receive More Than $59 Million in Additional Recovery Funds

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that an additional $59,635,587 is now available for Alabama under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. To date, Alabama has received $1,477,581,506 through the ARRA. The state recently reported that recovery dollars have been used to provide funding for more than 4,300 education jobs from Jan.

Oregon to Receive More Than $74 Million in Additional Recovery Funds

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that an additional $74,633,845 is now available for Oregon under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. To date, Oregon has received $1,091,491,291 through the ARRA. The state recently reported that recovery dollars have been used to provide funding for more than 3,600 education jobs from Jan.
