Community College Scholarships Available Online
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has created the e-Scholar web site listing government scholarships, fellowships, grants, and internships geared to high school and postsecondary students. The site was designed to increase the diversity and areas of focus of students who take advantage of federally funded scholarships and job opportunities, and includes several programs targeting community college students. Currently, the site features about $400-million in scholarships, and also offers advice on creating resumes that will appeal to government employers.
