White House Initiative on HBCU’s Executive Director George Cooper to Give Keynote Address at the University of the District of Columbia’s Founder’s Day Convocation

George Cooper, the executive director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), will give the keynote address at UDC’s Founder's Day Convocation and Awards Program on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m., in Washington, D.C.

Cooper will discuss the goals and projects of the White House Initiative, including the HBCU All-Stars announced earlier this month. One of the 75 students named as the 2014 HBCU All-Stars is a student at UDC.
