U.S. Under Secretary of Education to Address Ohio Teaching and Learning Conference

U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will deliver remarks to the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education's 2012 Teaching and Learning Conference Friday, Nov. 9, in Dayton, Ohio.

Kanter will participate in an hour-long, interview-style discussion on higher education.  She will discuss trends in postsecondary education and the Education Department's report, "Civic Learning and Engagement in Democracy: A Road Map and Call to Action," which was released earlier this year.

Among those in attendance will be faculty and academic leaders from multiple disciplines in higher education.
