John White, deputy assistant secretary for rural outreach at the U.S. Department of Education, will travel to the Kansas City area Wednesday and Thursday where he will visit schools using cutting-edge classroom technology and address a national conference, discussing President Obama’s ConnectED initiative for wiring America’s schools with high-speed Internet within five years.
