U.S. Education Secretary Duncan to Visit Navajo Technical College, Deliver Commencement Address

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will travel to Crownpoint, N.M., where he will tour Navajo Technical College on Friday and deliver the commencement address for the school’s spring graduation ceremonies on Saturday.

The Aspen Institute recently named Navajo Technical as one of 120 community colleges eligible for its Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. This semester, the school posted its largest enrollment -- more than 1,400 students – at its northwest New Mexico campus.
