U.S. Education Secretary Duncan, Department Staff to Watch WNBA Game Saturday Night

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Education Department staff will watch the WNBA Washington Mystics take on his hometown team, the Chicago Sky, at the Verizon Center on Saturday evening, June 19. Before the game from 6 to 6:30 p.m., Secretary Duncan and Mystics WNBA all-star Alana Beard will interact with more than 100 Education Department (ED) employees and their children on the practice court. One ED employee will then be chosen to toss the ceremonial jump ball, before the start of the actual game.
