U.S. Education Official to Participate in Northeast Ohio Education Conference Hosted by Sen. Brown

Michael Yudin, deputy assistant secretary for policy and strategic initiatives for the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, will join Ohio State Superintendent of Education Deb Delisle in participating in a panel discussion on education improvement sponsored by U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. The panel, entitled, "P-16 Policy with State and Federal Government Representatives," will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Idea Center at PlayhouseSquare, 1375 Euclid Ave., in Cleveland.
Yudin will discuss how the U.S. Education Department's agenda and plans to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act offer support for education systems from preschool through college -- P-16. The session is part of Sen. Brown's Northeast Ohio P-16 Conference, focused on promoting excellence in education.
