U.S. Education Official to Address Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education

Melody Musgrove, director of the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), will deliver the keynote address at a meeting of the Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education Friday in Springfield, Ill. Musgrove will discuss OSEP's vision for the future of special education and its role in supporting states to improve results for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. As director of OSEP, Musgrove oversees administration of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), serving America's students with disabilities.
