U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller will deliver a greeting from President Obama and discuss the importance of educational and cultural exchange between Japan and the United States at the opening session of the U.S.-Japan Conference on Cultural and Educational Interchange (CULCON) at the Library of Congress on Thursday, June 10. CULCON is a bi-national advisory panel to the American and Japanese governments, focusing on identifying issues of cultural and educational concern and proposing constructive solutions.
