U.S. Department of Education Senior Official to Deliver Keynote Address at Government Technology Summit

Jim Shelton, assistant deputy secretary for innovation and improvement at the U.S. Department of Education, will keynote the Gov 2.0 Summit, a new government technology conference, at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. Shelton's remarks will focus on "Next Generation Models for Education."
The summit, which will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 7-8, will bring together innovators from government and the private sector to highlight technology and ideas that can be applied to education and other areas of great national importance.
