U.S. Department of Education Senior Advisor and HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary to Participate in Richmond Community Conversation on Educational Alignment for Young Children

U.S. Department of Education Senior Advisor for Early Learning Jacqueline Jones and Health and Human Services Deputy Assistant Secretary and Inter-Departmental Liaison Joan Lombardi will participate in a panel at a “community conversation” hosted by the National League of Cities (NLC) Institute For Youth, Education and Families; the city of Richmond and the Richmond Public Schools. The event, titled “A Community Conversation: Educational Alignment for Young Children,” will be held on Sept. 22 in Richmond, Va., and will focus on local efforts improve outcomes for young children between pre-k and kindergarten.
