U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will participate in a panel discussion about education and training in a changing world at 4:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, April 12, at the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D.C. Other panelists include Dr. Stefan C. Wolter, professor at the University of Berne and president of the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training, and Robert B. Schwartz, academic dean and professor of education at Harvard University. Kanter will discuss the need to align college and career pathways and highlight the Department’s Race To The Top and Investing in Innovation initiatives. Following remarks, Kanter and fellow panelists will take questions from the audience.
