Senior U.S. Education Official to Visit Pine Haven Elementary in Bauxite, Ark., to Discuss Early Learning

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Early Learning Libby Doggett will visit Pine Haven Elementary School in Bauxite, Ark., on Monday Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m. for a tour and discussion on the importance of early learning. Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, state Sen. Jeremy Hutchinson and Commissioner of Education Dr. Tom Kimbrell will join Doggett to observe Save the Children's afterschool programming at Pine Haven Elementary School and share remarks with the community about the positive impact high quality early learning opportunities have on student's future success in school, college and career. Doggett will also discuss the President’s Preschool for All proposal. A question and answer session will follow their remarks.
