Senior Education Official to Address Financial Aid Administrators for Health Professions

David Bergeron, acting assistant secretary for postsecondary education, will give a “Washington Update” in remarks at the Association of American Medical Colleges’ 2013 Professional Development Conference for Health Professions at 11:30 a.m. PT, on Friday, Jan. 18, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Bergeron will discuss changes in student aid provisions that affect students in the health professions, such as graduate/professional loans and the new Pay As You Earn repayment option. He will also provide an overview of the Education Department’s activities in 2012 and upcoming initiatives for 2013.
