Senior advisor for nonprofit partnerships Michael Robbins will deliver remarks at the Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee Education Summit in Selma, Ala., on Friday, March 1. Robbins will discuss the Administration’s education reform efforts and the role of community and family partnerships in transforming schools.
On Sunday, March 3, at 2:30 p.m. CT, Robbins will join national, state and local leaders, including Vice President Biden, to participate in the 48th Anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” and the re-enactment of the crossing of the Edmund Pettus Bridge. The group will march across the bridge to commemorate the “Bloody Sunday” civil rights protest.
