Senior Department Official to Discuss Future of Student Aid Debt at Credit Counseling Conference

David Bergeron, acting assistant secretary for postsecondary education, will discuss the future of student aid debt in his remarks at the 20th annual conference of the Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies (AICCCA) at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, in Clearwater, Fla.
Bergeron will provide an overview of the Obama Administration’s 2012 activities, upcoming initiatives for 2013 and tools to help borrowers better manage their student loan portfolios.
