U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will join National Education Association President, Dennis Van Roekel, for a classroom visit, turnaround roundtable discussion and press availability at G. James Gholson Middle School on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. in Landover, Md. G. James Gholson is one of four schools in Prince George's County, using a U.S. Education Department School Improvement Grant to turn around academic performance.
