Secretary Duncan to Deliver Remarks at Release of Dropout Prevention Report

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and other public figures will deliver remarks at the release of a report from America's Promise Alliance, Civic Enterprises and Johns Hopkins University's Everyone Graduates Center entitled, "Building a Grad Nation: Progress and Challenge in Ending the High School Dropout Epidemic." Secretary Duncan will address the report's findings -- particularly its implications for lowering dropout rates, reducing the number of high school "dropout factories" and implementing successful turnarounds of persistently low-achieving schools.
