Tomorrow, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona continues his national travel blitz visiting schools and colleges to highlight key education provisions within the President’s Build Back Better agenda. During his visit to Arizona, Secretary Cardona will be joined by U.S. Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva. Together, Secretary Cardona and Rep. Grijalva will participate in a tour and a roundtable discussion with students and education leaders at Tohono O'odham Community College located in the Tohono O'odham Nation. They will discuss provisions within President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda that provide students with pathways to affordable higher education, including providing two years of free community college for all students, and increased federal funding for institutions that serve as essential gateways to higher education for ever-more diverse generations of college hopefuls, including Tribal Colleges and Universities.

Note: While on the nation, masks are required at all times. Any reporter in attendance will be required to fill out a health screening and do a temperature check.
