Experts to Present New Data on the Needs of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders at Major Conference
Washington Experts will discuss new findings about everyday problems facing Asian Americans, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities this week at a conference held by the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders at George Washington University.
Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will deliver the commencement address during a ceremony at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. Kanter will join the college’s president, Adena Williams Loston, and the Board of Trustees in conferring 975 associate degrees and certificates to graduating students.
