U.S. Education Secretary Continues 'Courage in the Classroom' Bus Tour in the Northeast to Honor Nation's Teachers

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will make stops in New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine on his back to school bus tour to hold conversations with and honor America’s teachers on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 30-31.

U.S. Education Secretary Embarks on 'Courage in the Classroom' Bus Tour to Honor Nation's Teachers

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will kick off a back to school bus tour to hold conversations with and honor America’s teachers in Little Rock, Ark., this Thursday. Throughout the tour, Duncan will be visiting classrooms breaking ground in closing the achievement gap, early education, school nutrition and safety and teacher recruitment.

Secretary Duncan to "Walk to School" Tuesday with D.C. Mayor Fenty, Chancellor Rhee, Administrator Mendez

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Washington, D.C., Mayor Adrian Fenty, Washington, D.C., Chancellor of Schools Michelle Rhee and U.S. Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez will join 100-150 students and parents in "walking to school" Tuesday along a two-block route from Lincoln Park to Maury Elementary in the nation's capital.
