Education Department Senior Advisor to Highlight Administration's Proposals to Transform Teacher Preparation Programs

Education Department Senior Advisor Jo Anderson will deliver the keynote address at the general session of the National Association for Alternative Certification (NAAC) 21st annual conference on Friday, March 11, at 9:15 a.m. Anderson will deliver his remarks in the LaSalle Ballroom of the Doubletree Magnificent Mile in Chicago.
Anderson will discuss the Administration’s proposals to transform teacher preparation programs and support the training of promising prospective teachers through the Presidential Teaching Fellows program during his remarks. NAAC is a professional organization that advocates for standards-driven nontraditional educator preparation leading to effective school staffing.
