Education Department Assistant Secretary to Address Committee on Measures of Student Success at Inaugural Meeting

Eduardo Ochoa, assistant secretary for the Office of Postsecondary Education, will deliver remarks at the inaugural meeting of the Committee on Measures of Student Success on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 12:30 p.m. The event will take place at the U.S. Department of Education Eighth Floor Conference Center at 1990 K St. N.W. in Washington, D.C.
The Committee has been assembled per the Higher Education Opportunity Act and was appointed in June by Education Secretary Arne Duncan. The Committee will advise the Secretary on assisting two-year degree-granting institutions in fulfilling completion or graduation rate disclosure requirements. The Committee may also recommend additional or alternative measures of student success that are comparable alternatives to completion or graduation rates.
