Education Assistant Secretary to Deliver Keynote on Next Steps for Transitioning Students, Adult Education

Brenda Dann-Messier, assistant secretary for vocational and adult education, will discuss the future of adult education during her keynote address at a conference hosted by the Iowa Association of Lifelong Learning (IALL) and the Adult Literacy Institute (ALI). Dann-Messier will speak at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13.
The conference, “Blazing New Trails for Tomorrow’s Learning Challenges,” will be held at the Iowa Valley Community College in Marshalltown, Iowa. Dann-Messier will offer strategies for transitioning adult students and provide an update on the direction of adult education.
