Director of White House Hispanic Education Initiative to Address National Community College Hispanic Council Symposium

Juan Sepulveda, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, will deliver the keynote address at the breakfast session for the 25th National Community College Hispanic Council's Leadership Symposium at 8 a.m. Saturday in Miami.

Sepulveda will discuss the Obama administration's strategies to increase Latino students' access to a quality education and improve their rates of education attainment in order to keep the U.S. competitive in the global marketplace. In addition, he will update participants on the work of the White House Initiative and share the office's vision for growing and supporting Latino leaders.
