U.S. Department of Education Deputy Assistant Secretary Michael Yudin will give remarks at ASCD’s (formerly the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) annual conference on Sunday, March 27, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. He will discuss the Administration’s commitment to improving educational opportunities and resources for all students and provide an update on the reauthorization of No Child Left Behind.
ASCD is an educational leadership organization that develops programs, products and services to advance the way educators learn, teach and lead. The organization’s members are professional educators—from superintendents, principals and other educators to teachers, professors and school board members. Its conference, with an expected 10,000 attendees and more than 500 sessions, will take place March 26-28.
