Duncan will be joined by Congressman Steny Hoyer, D-Md., Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, Bowie State President Dr. Mickey Burnim, other local leaders, educators, and students from Prince George's County Public Schools.

Michael Lach, special assistant for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, will address leaders from engineering societies across the nation at the Engineering Public Policy Symposium on Tuesday, May 17. Lach will speak at 11:15 a.m. in the U.S. Library of Congress Members Room in Washington, D.C.
