Eduardo Ochoa, assistant secretary for the Office of Postsecondary Education, will deliver the keynote address for the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) Annual Research Conference at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, in Indianapolis, Ind. The event, which runs from Nov. 17-20, will be held at the Marriott Downtown.
Ochoa’s remarks will focus on the role that research plays in the formulation of federal higher education policy. They will be open to the press.
ASHE promotes collaboration among its members and others engaged in the study of higher education through research, conferences and publications, including its journal, The Review of Higher Education. This year’s conference is titled “Higher Education Scholarship and Public Policy: What is the Optimal Alignment.”
