On Thursday, Brenda Dann-Messier, assistant secretary for Vocational and Adult Education, will deliver opening remarks at the National Career Pathways Network (NCPN) Annual Conference in Dallas, TX. This year's conference, hosted by the National Career Pathways Network (NCPN), the Center for Occupational Research and Development (CORD) and the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium (NASDCTEc), will focus on issues related to Programs of Study.

The conference anticipates nearly 2,000 people will be in attendance. Event topics include Perkins regulations and funding, Career Pathways, Programs of Study, Adult Education (Adult Career Pathways) and other issues related to career and technical education.
