Acting U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. will deliver remarks at the Magnet Schools of America National Policy Training Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the Liaison Hotel in Washington, D.C. King will discuss the future of magnet schools. A question and answer session will follow his remarks.

The conference, held during National Magnet School Month in February, is designed to help magnet school leaders and educators understand the complex federal, state, and local policy issues that influence their magnet schools. During conference sessions, political leaders and policy experts provide their guidance and analysis on matters related to federal education policy and funding, legal and civil rights issues and new and emerging educational research.
