WASHINGTON, DC – Today, at 2:30PM, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, and Cecilia Munoz, Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, will host an on-the-record conference call to discuss the President’s announcement of a new $8 billion Community College to Career Fund. Co-administered by the Department of Labor and the Department of Education, this Fund will help forge new partnerships between community colleges and businesses to train two million workers for good-paying jobs in high-growth and high-demand industries.
