Kevin Jennings, assistant deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, will address the importance of character education in creating safe, supportive school environments at the annual Northeast Conference on Character Education. He also will discuss the harmful impact of bullying and harassment on academic performance.
