ED Internet Customer Survey Results|
One of the best sites in the world. Keep up the good work. Excellent resource!! I wish every student and teacher could have access to this remarkable service! I have been pleased at how quickly a gov't agency has been able to adapt. I like big picture that this information provides for me. Its to easy for me to get consumed in the day to day operation of my school. I often get ideas for program planning and development from this service. by making as much information available as possible that used to not even be accessible in print that's where ED Internet has opened up the Dept. of Ed. by lightyears from where it was You're doing a great job! When I hear people recommend eliminating ED altogether, I have to wonder whether they know how accessible INET is making all this important & useful info. I'm also impressed by your responsiveness, as demonstrated in this survey I think Ed Internet really suits my needs. The distance between DC & Flagstaff is very far, not only in geographic terms, but in cultural & political terms. The use of Ed Internet helps me feel like I'm not so far away, & out of the information loop. I love your website! I use it very frequently. I think you have done a fantastic job in getting this whole service up and running. You are to be commended for making it so easy to read and find what a person is looking for. Good job. Very friendly site. EdInfo and the other ED internet services are very valuable services. Thank you all. Very good service! Home page is clearly organized, fast... As an ED employee in a regional office, I have found ED internet service absolutely invaluable to stay connected to ED resources & current events. I have more access to ED resources online, from 1700 miles away than I ever did at ED headquarters in Washington As a business person involved in many aspects of education, I do not have a great deal of time to look for educationrelated items. I think this is the best WEB SITE for all types of education information. I am able to take advantage of many of your services I can only suggest that you somehow convince other department to be a helpful as your service. Thanks! Overall, an excellent site and service, with very comprehensive and useful resources. The people who organized and maintain it deserve to be commended. Kudos to you all for continuing to update and modify this site. You have done a great job! The service is a tremendous benefit to me I feel fortunate to be able to access information so quickly & conveniently. I believe that open, rapid communication between educators, government, & citizens, provides an excellent tool w which to develop & shape our nation's future. Thanks for your role |
You're doing a fine job and reaching a great many more people. Keep up the good work hope you grow and prosper we'll all benefit! All I can say is I hope you do get more funding and are able to somehow help the students so in need. We are wasting too many minds and souls. I hope you all can help. thanks for your hard work Your suggested sites were so very helpful in getting me started on using the Internet. Thank you!! I thing you are doing a wonderful job. I appreciate your support & service. Easy access to publications, resources & contacts is vital. We are overwhelmed in education. We must work faster at accessing resources to support our youth & families in need. Great site, well organized, loads quickly but still looks good. I appreciate all you are doing and think your service is great! I think you are doing an excellent job of gathering and disseminating relevant information in a timely fashion. I appreciate your efforts and thank you for a job well done. Web response is one of the best I've encountered in a long time. Thank goodness that your site has been fully operational. Every stride has been made to improve service and everyone has done a fabulous job. Thanks a million!!!!! Appreciate the work that you are doing and the directions you are going! I think what you've accomplished so far is excellent. Additional resources should be available as the infrastructure (connections and speed) improves. I have always found info on grants, budget, reports, etc. on the website before we receive a hard copy in our offices. The highest officials at the DOE respond within 48 hours to an email request. I have always found DOE staff responsive. Search tools are an incredible addition For example, I learned about and downloaded a fulltext copy of the TIMSS report within a few days of its release. Wonderful! Amazing! Great content! I wish all agencies would offer this service! Overall you are doing a great job. I sincerely appreciate all your hard work. I AM HOOKED ON IT! I have had excellent response from email and phone inquiries Your Pick of the Month (particularly the NCIP) is a valuable service, and the quality of resources you recommend is consistently high you are doing a great jobthanks I am very satisfied with the service. I think that the Dept.'s Homepage is extremely well laid out, and that it is very easy to use and very responsive to my search needs |

Life as an educator is so hectic that I really appreciate all the great leads I have gotten to valuable information and reports through the EDInfo mailing list service. Thanks!!!!! I really appreciate the information I've been receiving from you....my coworkers and I actually read all the bulletins that I receive by email. It's nice to have education stepping into the technologyrealm. Kirk is wonderful. He responds to EMail with helpful info. The K12 administrators who gave me the EdInfo address (I hadn't seen it in my world) were EFFUSIVE about the time, attention, and energy the EdInfo editors put into that resource (Kickbush and Winters specifically were named as "incredible"). Format is fantastic . I've never been let down I can always find what I'm looking for. Your header is great saves lots of time by having an intelligent coherent format to work with Thanks for all your hard work it really shows! |
I have been very pleased with the listserv you provide, I feel it's written very succinctly and understandably for those of us who hate to wade through the educational or legislative jargon. Thank you for providing this service The EdInfo mailing list is great! I have no idea how the service has evolved such a candid style. I hope it can be preserved. I enjoy the Kirk_winter updates. Generally well written interested, and timely. One of the few list serves worth receiving The information is current... I don't feel like I am reading history. The listserv postings have remained brief with links. Thanks. This is among the top information sources I subscribe to. |

I believe the content to be socialist and destructive. Assign the staff to more productive work. To really improve this page service, I would suggest abolishing the Dept of Ed. I am appalled at the activities of the Department of Education. The DE is basically a propaganda arm for socialist ideas which are ruining our country. I am in favor of completely eliminating the entire department. When I tried to input more suggestions, the page froze which pretty much sums up what it is like to use this site. |
I am insulted that my tax dollars are being used to include photo gifs of these bureaucrats. Your lessons are a great example of the dumbing down of America. I've yet to find a 'Comments' hot button for citizens to message the department head and staff. I strongly urge abolishing the department of education, immediately! It and the NEA have continued from the 60s to successfully destroy our society! You people have not the faintest idea about what you are doing! This system seems too cluttered & should be proteacher & not promoney making. I think it is a sad thing to witness a government agency is more out for itself instead of our children's future |
