I have felt the need for science to be more available to those students in rural areas. My project would be to start a Magic Science Bus that would travel to small rural schools equipped with lessons and hands-on materials pertinent to the science curriculum and grade levels. The program could be an addition to a lesson in progress or could be a weeks worth of simulated activities (ex: Arizona Resource: Water!) Keeping science relative to the student is important. Awareness of their natural surroundings is the ultimate goal. Are there possible grants to get this started? Look forward to talking with you.
