Many times, this information is above the level that my students can understand. I would like to launch a website that has two purposes. I would like it to be a location for students to list helpful websites on various middle school topics. I would like them to be able to make a comment about each site and tell what grade level may find it useful. I would also like to include finished products on the website. These would be the final products that the students have generated by using the "helpful website." The products that are generated In my classroom would be in various forms most of which would be created on either Hyperstudio or PowerPoint. The students would use written reports, scanned drawings, digital snapshots, graphics, and many other technological tools to create Hyperstudio or PowerPoint presentations that could be put directly on the website. This would be incredibly helpful to students so that they may see what information is out there, on their level, and how they may put it to use. This project could easily be replicated in other schools. The schools could add to the website that is initially generated, or may choose to create another similar website for a different grade level. The students could make similar presentations to be put on the website. The presentations already out there would be a guide for them to follow or use as examples.
