I would like to contribute a Science/Math/Reading curriculum unit (packet of lessons and activities/readings) geared for children on a third and fourth grade level. This is a Fall/Winter teaching unit designed by me for the New England area. I've also developed a mini-unit on motion and our reaction. Which explores the modes of transportation (recreational) and how/why/when/where we use them. I've received several nominations and awards for my inclusion of special education students into the mainstream. I'm trained in the latest reading programs and have taught for more than fourteen years on both elementary and middle school levels. Participation with a Federal agency would give inner-city students positive contact with a negatively viewed agency. As well as the experience of expanding their knowledge and motivation them to excell in school. Such an oppotunity doesn't come along often.
