I think students have ideas about what they want to be long before that level. I would like to introduce my students to job fields which are not usually included in the "career day" activities - Federal agency jobs! I want my students to have a greater choice than what is usually presented. It is important for students to realize that what they are learning each day prepares them for future job careers. If there is a broader field open to them, they might think that school is worth the effort.
