AAED Award Luncheon for Norman C. Francis, Xavier
On Wednesday, June 3 Deputy Director Ivory Toldson will attend the awards luncheon in honor of Norman C. Francis, President, Xavier University. This ceremony will recognize Dr. Francis and all his accomplishments as the longest standing HBCU President. This event will take place in New Orleans and will be open press.
Presidents Board of Advisors (PBA) on HBCUs Meeting (Pending Federal Register Notice)
On June 22-23 the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities will host its PBA Meeting at Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, MS. This purpose of the meeting is to bring together HBCU Board members, stakeholder groups, federal agencies, and the community to provide update and discuss funding programs and outreach opportunities for HBCUs.
2015 HBCU Week Annual Conference
On September 21-22 the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities will host its annual HBCU Conference. This year’s themes is HBCUs: Innovators for Future Success and we will be emphasizing STEM, Partnerships and Entrepreneurships. The conference will take place at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park. General registration will open on June 1, 2015. The event will be open to the press.
