Overview:
The mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation.  The SEC’s 2014 Summer Student Honors Program will begin on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 and end on Friday, August 8, 2014.

The SEC’s Student Honors Program is a ten-week opportunity for graduate students (Non-legal students only) to become acquainted with the activities of the Federal Government and to gain hands-on experience in an operational office.

All students must be currently enrolled as a degree-seeking student.  Please note, selection is based on many factors, including academic achievement, writing skills and experience, ability to reason independently and creatively, volunteer and work experience relating to the SEC’s work, commitment to its mission, extracurricular activities, and well-rounded background. Students must be enrolled in a graduate school program.  Students graduating in May 2013 are ineligible.
