Adil Kabani serves as an Economic Policy Advisor at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. At the Initiative, Adil focuses his efforts on developing and implementing an economic growth strategy for the AAPI communities in a number of areas including increasing access to capital, stimulating entrepreneurship, and supporting Asia focused trade and investment initiatives. Adil regularly engages with a variety of AAPI entrepreneurs and business leaders to come up with strategic solutions involving government to solve key economic issues in the AAPI community.
Prior to the Initiative, Adil was at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation in variety of roles in political risk insurance, project finance, and emerging markets private equity. Adil holds a B.A. in Economics from Emory University, and a M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from the George Mason University School of Public Policy. He has also completed certificate programs in International Business and Trade at American University and European Studies at Oxford University (U.K.).
