Audrey Buehring serves as Deputy Director for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. At the Initiative, Audrey strategizes with federal and community partners to optimize federal opportunities and resources for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
Audrey first came to the Initiative as a Presidential Management Fellow from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Before entering the public sector, she worked as an engineering program manager for General Motors OnStar. Audrey has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Auburn University, an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Florida, and a J.D. from the University of Denver.
