Paul de Sa has been Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis since joining the FCC in July 2009. Before that, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in the Telecom/Media, Private Equity and Corporate Finance practices in the United States and Asia. Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. de Sa received a doctorate in theoretical physics from Oxford University. He was also a Kennedy Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Science, Technology, and Public Policy program at Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
